The Newfoundland and Labrador Gerontological Nursing Association (NLGNA) is hosting a provincial Educational Conference.

Speakers and Topics include:

Elizabeth M. Davis, keynote speaker, Shaping an Age Friendly Society & an Age Friendly Health System.

Trena Snook, RN NP on Gerontolological Considerations for Mental Health & Addictions;

Debbie Squires, Clinical Nurse Specialist on Palliative Care;

Kathleen Stevens, RN, MN, PhD(c) on Foot Care;

Adam O’Rourke and Kerrie Cochrane, Behaviour Management Specialists on Responsive Behaviors and Caregiver Stress

In addition, an opportunity to attend a Dementia Experience will be offered to the first 45 participants registered.

 

Registration costs:

NLGNA members $35

Full time nursing students $30

Non-NLGNA members $100

Personal Care Attendants $50

Break snacks and lunch are included in registration costs.
