Registered nurses launch digital drive to bring real voice of seniors health to federal campaign

Thursday, August 6, 2015, Ottawa — Today, the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) launched its Health Is Where the Home Is digital campaign for better seniors care and healthy aging, including an interactive cna-aiic.ca/election2015 website. More than 14 per cent of Canadians are 65 or older — an age group expected to double by 2036. As the election campaign gets underway, CNA wants to draw attention to the significant gaps in seniors home care and the recommendations it has developed for federal leaders.
