ARNNL Workplace Representatives (WPRs) are RNs volunteering to serve as links between ARNNL and nursing colleagues. Members are encouraged to apply for consideration as an ARNNL Workplace Representative.
Some activities a WPR may undertake to enhance their professional practice environment in their workplace include:
- Providing a communication link between RNs in the workplace and ARNNL;
- Assisting colleagues to understand and integrate the Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses, Standards for Nurse Practitioner Practice in Newfoundland & Labrador and other resources for practice;
- Assisting colleagues to understand ARNNL’s mandate and to value professional self-regulation;
- Providing access to resources to support nursing practice in the workplace.
